The Junior Floorball League runs in term 4 and term 1. There are different categories for different age grades.
Teams can be entered through schools or directly with Wellington Floorball Club.

General information:

Venue
ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie 
Teams  Teams consist of 3 field players and 1 goalie on the court. Minimum of 4 and maximum of 7 players per team.  (Year 1/2 has slightly different rules and set up)
To start a game a team must play with a minumum number of players registered to their team or the team will default that game.

A player can only play for one team in the same grade, but may play two games for a team in a higher grade.

Rink Size: Mini (primary age) Midi (intermediate age)

Equipment    
Floorball sticks for field players and helmet plus knee pads for goalies will be provided.
Games  Games are 2 x10 min, with a 2 minute break between halves

Term 4, 2017

Grades: Primary School Yr1-2 / Yr3 / Yr4 / Yr5 / Yr6

Tuesdays 17 October - 21 November 2017 (6 weeks) 3:30-7:00pm
Cost: $160 per team

Primary Grade Rules

 

Intermediate Schools Yr7-8  games are played on Thursday afternoon.

Thursdays 19 October – 23 November 2017 (6 weeks) 4:00-6:00pm
Cost: $165 per team

Intermediate Grade Rules

 

Secondary Schools Games are played on Thursday afternoon between 4:00 - (tba)
  College Sport is also running a Premiere division which is played with 5 field players plus goalie on a full size rink, games are 2x12min. Only one team per school can enter that grade  
Registration for this grade is via College Sport Wellington

                                                                            

Due to the continuous growth of our league, we are expecting schools/parents to help with running the games.
Number of teams are limited and registration may close earlier if maximum numbers are received.
