Floorball is a fun and fast type of hockey played indoors with light weight sticks and ball. Five court players and a goalkeeper (without a stick) play on a fully enclosed rink. The goals are set in so play continues behind the goal-line, similar to ice hockey. Floorball is a safe, exciting sport to play and easy for people to pick up. There are few rules, mainly to make it a safe sport for everyone and no protective gear is required. Sticks are provided by Wellington Storm Floorball Club.

| Grades | Mates: Ideal for new teams and beginners (max 2 WFL players per team) Competitive: For more experienced/competitive players. (max 5 WFL players per team) Note: Players can only play in ONE team per grade. Grades will be split depending on number of teams registered. |

| Teams | Teams consist of 6 players (5+goalie) on the field, standard floorball rules apply. | |
| Teams are mixed with a maximum of 4 adult male players on the court. | ||
| A minimum of 5 players are required to start a game and teams can have unlimited rolling subs. | ||

Players under the age of 16 count as juniors. The minimum age for players is intermediate school age (year 7), however recommended age is secondary school and older. |

IMPORTANT NOTE
Make sure you have all of your team members email addresses handy. You will need to enter them during the registrations process (new teams). Your members will receive an email with login information and a link to register themselves to your team. Players can now register for training in the same form! It is mandatory for all of your players to register themselves. Please note that full payment of the entry fee must be made by Week 4 into the competition.

The login details that you recieve in the confirmation email can be used for any purchase in SportsTG. Trainings, Leagues, Tournaments etc. It means that you as a player have been registered to Wellington Floorball Club. If you are also a coach or volunteer for us, please tick the appropriate box while registering.
